Born and raised in Alabama I defied the odds and went to college to receive my BFA with a focus in sculpture. After graduation, I supported myself by making jewelry and traveling the country doing pop up shows. Realizing that I was not fulfilled making jewelry, I became a sales based interior design consultant. Eighteen months ago I met my musician husband who encouraged me to overcome my fear and pursue my passion for sculpting. I now sculpt full-time in my studio located in Greenville, SC.

    Each of my sculptures celebrates self-awareness in the face of fragility. Even during the most vulnerable points of our existence, there is an unexpected force striving to manifest. Through the process of creating sculpture, I am reminded that a beautiful strength can arise in the midst of chaos. My art conveys the reconciliation of these paradoxical themes.
